I am running an extreamly cold plug from my racecar gapped at .028" Which could account for my lack of detonation as well.
I dropped to the copper BKR7E gapped at about .035.

Twin, do you have inputs to spooner's question? what is an acceptable kr value? is 3 or 4 degrees at redline ok?

Awesome man, thanks alot.

So at the time, the BEST solution for any kind of tuning is starting with the SMT6? Would someone be better off with the Revitup kit, with the tuning option, or just get an SMT6 and start asking questions?

Get the SMT6. This way you have your own software and access to all aspects. When the time comes PM me and I will help you out.

I don't run with the line unhooked.... I did for the dyno, but when racing I spend very little time above 6k, having more boost at 4-6k is what I was after. If I was drag racing, I'd leave it unhooked at the track.

Looking at the misc kits, what is the best on to go for?

SMT-KIT, SMT-USER-KIT, SMT-DEV-KIT5, SMT-PRO

I have a SMT6 and software but no connectors to hook it up to my laptop.

Just to chime in, the GM MAF-T does not work well. Just controlling the A/F will not work w/ 42.5lbs injectors. The car will advance timing way too fast for how much boost you will see with a 2.8" pulley causing tons of knock.

Were you using something different than the other guys that used that setup? I don't remember hearing them complain about anything, but I didn't follow it as well as I should have...

How do you mean it advances timing too fast?
