Traction Defficency

This is getting horrible! What can we do to get more traction out of our cars? I've tried all the quick fixes and even talked to twincharge about the traction bars he made but hes not sure about them as a marketable product yet. So no matter how much power we have it dosn't matter if we can't get it to the ground. What have you guys been able to come up with that has helped this problem or do you have any suggestions?

Since tires seem to be about all we can do at this point and I'm in need of some new tires REAL soon, what would everyone suggest?

I'd like some summer street tires. Something that will stick nicely but won't have have too low of a treadwear rating.

How many miles u wanna get out of a set and what is your price range? I know when mine go out im switching to falken azenzis rt-615 of br goodrich traction T/A or bf goodrich traction t/a g-force...the g-force are significantly cheaper and are supposed to handle just as well. but the T/A went like 1.02g on an evo. Prob any of the above will be better than stock

bf goodrich are good tires, but they wear really fast. I had a pair on my old mustang, didn't race them at all, and had to replace them after about 8 months. And for $160 a tire, its not really worth it. I have heard nothing but good things about the falken azenzis, I will probably switch to those when mine are dead. Check out www.edgeracing.com they have great prices.

isnt it a little unfair to say all BFG's wear really fast, since all the different models have different ratings? which type of BFG's did you have on the stang?

I also think engine braces and solid motor mounts will help with traction too, if the tire says on the ground it's gonna hook up better than when it's bouncing all over the place!
