i just bought a 05 ion redline and im having problems with front end traction off the the starting line and at high rpms...i was wondering if better control arms would help me out any...iv heard of the limited slip differential but im not thinking it would help all that much...any suggestions would be helpful...thx

Torque Brace. Works VERY well.

Oh and how high of rpm's are you starting from? Starting to high isn't that good (unless you just wanna smoke your tires..) and don't hit the limiter under no load...car really really doesn't like it.

Mostly you just need to be patient on the throttle, don't go wide open in 1st and wait 'til it starts to hook up before WOT in 2nd. The LSD will help a ton, but is very hard/expensive to install. Cynic (a vendor on here) sells Torque braces and Solid motor mounts that help a lot and eliminate mostly all wheel hop.

The stock tires arent the best for straightline take offs either... car makes good tq low in the rpms, and it's easy to over-rev, since you really dont need to rev at all to take off.... hard car to launch..
