blown motor, or new opprotunity?

Hey everyone, new guy to the forum, I am the owner of a 2004 Saturn ion redline. unfortunately rear main seal leak has lead to my motor getting blown, now im faced with two options, 1) selling the car or parting it out, 2) take the motor out, scrap it, save the supercharger ect, and dump a new motor in with the supercharger, so basically I would like to know your opinion and advice on what to do, and/or what you have done!! thinking of a new motor kinda got me excited but with not many redlines around im unsure of the probability of this happening. SO!!

Who has motor swapped there redline?
With what?
How much?
Over all worth it?
How much personal handtime on the car and how much shop time?

Every and anything else you can inform me on would be greatly appreciated as I love my redline and don't wanna see it go

Thanks
Mitch

There is your answer.......

Most of the engines on eBay are around 1800-2k. I plan on doin a new engine from zzp if mine ever blows. If your willing to spend a few bucks I'd go zzperformance.
