I would figure at least 2-3 hours to install it, if its like the GM staged kits at maybe about $45-$50 an hour unless you have a hook-up and then maybe $20-$30 an hour with some beer.........

dont have a puller nor the knowledge, i dont want to mess it up. I'll watch as they do it to learn but only being into cars for a couple years, i only know how to do basic bolt-ons. I wish i could do it, i really do.

I would expect them to flat charge you. I would expect the installation quote will be 200-300 bucks (I'm not kidding). Due to the pulley change and having to lift the engine (for most pullers) I think they'll charge you more than flat labor.

Why would you jack up the engine when it takes 5 minutes to remove the supercharger? 200-300 seems pretty steep for an hour of labor.

I was told that most pullers require an engine lift in order to get the pulley off...I guess it depends on who is installing it. Pulley installation is a pain in the ass and shouldn't be done by non-mechanics.

Ya, I don't understand that engine lift thing. I can see removing the s/c, but that is only 4 bolts. So who ever told you that you need to lift the engine needs to learn how to unbolt a supercharger to make their life easier.
