Some disturbing datalogs...IPW

http://www. cobaltss .net/forums/showthread.php?p=189294&posted=1#post189294

I scanned these last night on a stock car stock pulley (i only have a K&N). I'm questioning putting my new pulley on. Thoughts?

How can they be higher than 100%? That makes no sense at all... the injectors are open more than all the time?

They can't it just means my injectors are just stayin completely open at wot. On that link on the site it explains how to figure idc. My injectors were staying open longer than it was taking my motor to make 2 complete revolutions . I'm scared now lol

I have a pulley, and mine hits a max of 22ms... maybe that's just what happens once the injectors hit full use. Not suprising, we know these things are running out of fuel with some mods, otherwise the stage kits wouldn't be 1/2 as sought after.

I just thought it was disturbing on a stock pulley and basically stock car

I'm wondering how I was building 13.9-14.0 psi last night it was 34 degrees iat1 and 72 iat 2 it held a 50 degree differential thru 2 gears. i thought the pcm would have stopped the fun at 12...what gives?

The car stopping boost at 12 is a myth, it limits the boost to some degree around 6000 rpms, but it's not a hardcore 12psi limit. In the cold air, my pulley is hitting 15-17psi before 6,000 rpms.

That would explain why the boost completely leveled off and stayed steady. Your boost...is that with the boost bypass mod or not?

No bypass mod. MOST of the time it's just under 15 psi as it hit's 6k, in the winter. In the summer it's closer to 14 or so as it hits 6k, and the bleeds REAL close to 12.5/13. With the bypass it's around 15 at redline in the summer.

So without the bypass it starts to pull boost above 6000rpm correct?
