with a 7k redline, the pulley needs to be bumped to 3" flat to be safe.

3" pulley = 14,000 blower rpm @ 7000 car rpm

the 2.8 goes a full 15,000 blower rpm @ 7000 car rpm

but damn i like that.... now revitup has an extra 500 rpm to make even more power... we just need to get them a stage 2 car so they can start work, and the fact they got a removable pulley on the stage kit... i think the wait is well worth all the hoopla' that has surrounded them

Those power gains suck....there just from the extra revs nothing in the lower end...imo Rev-it-up stage 1 will be just as fast as a GM stage 2.... The only thing the GM stage kits have is the higher rev limit which helps but the power is only made after 5500 ouch it's like putting VTEC in the car lol.

Hey! Good job Alpha, anyone else notice that it says 2004-2006 RL's on there as well? Did it say that stage 2 had a different calibration? Hard to read.

Bwahahahaha... that 7k limiter does more than you give it credit for. Not to mention, they can tune a kit for the GM stage. You can have your opinon, but if you think the power gains suck, you're being pretty close minded or foolish...

It will be useful for me in drag racing because I can keep the car in a better powerband after a shift, but I am dissapointed that as it appears right now the actual timing and fuel parameters may not be changed through the current rpm band. I was hoping for a bump in timing.

Id rather have mid range than bottom end. I have a hard time getting off the line anyway. This should be perfect for the strip! I want 13's sooo bad!!

So...if the redline is getting bumped up to 7k, are we getting a new little insert for our dash that has the 'red line' up at 7k instead of at 6500 still? LOL.

BTW, nice work Alpha!
