push them, that's what i had to do with mine, ask them to see if they can finda nything out.

i have no idea how these guys are that naive/ignorant, but every person i've talked to so far hangs up with me and finds stuff within like 5 minutes. i sorta figured there'd be an announcement somewhere for something like this...

Well, I talked to my local dealer, and all they were able to tell me is that they were listed in the new parts book, but no prices and no release date. I said something about first quarter of this year to the person on the phone and they started to laugh. Kind of a "yeah, sure, 1st quarter, lol". I don't have the cash for Stg 2 right now anyways, so, I'm sure by the time I get around to being ready to buy it, the dealers will know what's going on.

Saturn of Lake Barrington, they did not have exact details, but knew of them, knew they were coming in the next month, but was not sure they would stock the parts there. I asked them if they could do the reflash, and they were not sure. They thought so, but had to wait for the official release.

Also, Lattof Chevy, in Arlington Heights, is the dealer name of Crate Engine Depot. You can order from them as well.

No problem. I know Lattof his the info, and my dealer was aware of them, but not well briefed. One of the techs is a member here.

If you check out the PCM section on the 3800 Series II/III on their it has a large area for customized for what you want or basic things they can do. It starts off at $99, but then depending on what you have it tuned to, certain options can be an additional $20. I am thinking it might be worth it with the hundreds someone will charge for the dyno tuning...around here it's about 130-150 an hour.
The Grand Prix uses an OLDER generation PCM that has been cracked for a while now. ALL of the major players in the aftermarket reprogramming circles have a product that allows reprogramming of that box. The LSJ on the otherhand is another story...
