Question The final word on pulleys

Allright... Im gettin a little antsy waiting for the damn stage kits to be fully released. Should i buy some pulleys now??? Is it worth it??? What are the real gains i will get from a 3.0 pulley?? And would it be a waste of money if it turns out that i will have to buy the stage 2 just for the reflash?? I just want a simple mod for a few more ponies....... Ive been thinking about this since we have gotten info on the stage kits.... Help a fellow tuner out!

Get the Billetflow 2.9. You'll only overspin the blower by a couple rpm's if you actually go to 7k each time and you'll get the most power for the money and get the best quality and finish.

Was there a noticeable gain from the 2.9?? I just want something that will hold me back until the stage 1 comes out. And if there is another seperate Reflash for stage 2 ill be pissed.... I just want to spend as little money and still get into the 13's.....

ehh, I wouldn't use anything below a 3" on the daily..

You don't want to overspin too often..

I'll use my 2.8" on drag days but that's about it..

I'll be buying the 3" pulley ring to go along with my GM stage 1 in the future..

Billet flow gives a military discount so im going with them. I think i can get a Hub and three rings for 190( i dont know how much off with the discount). I was thinking about gettins the stock size,2.9,and 2.7??? How does that sound?? Would i need the idler pulley if i were using the 2.9??? Its not that far away from being a 3.0 so i wouldnt imagine having to use it?

The idler is worth it and cheap...though your injectors are technically maxed out stock...I was waiting for gm

Bought a pulley and scanned my car...injectors were over 100% duty cycle...

Got scarred bought a maft, lucas 42.5lb injectors, and a connector harness and plugs to go along with my billetflow 2.7 and 2.9" pulleys I'm gonna basicaly run the intense setup with a 2.7 and a K&N...should but me at almost exactly the power black06ss on css.net makes.
