I know of a company to make us forged wheels.

I know of a company ( i will keep the companies name of it for now) that is WILLING to make forged lightweight pretty good looking wheels for us.

They make 17's and 18's. I believe the 17's weigh about 15lbs and 18's weigh about 17lbs. Both sizes cost around $1000 give or take a little bit and come in "chrome look", gunmetal, silver.

If there is enough interest so we don't waste the guys time, we can probably set something up. Only issue is that I don't have time between my girl, work, school to get the group buy together.

if we can get a decent amount of RL's and SS's up and someone who is willing to manage the group buy. Sinister? Rice eater? Spooner? I would hope we could get someone highly active on the forum, someone we can trust.

If we can get this thing going, i'll tell the person managing this which company it is and who to get in contact with..

Yikes... we can give it a shot... I have no idea what kinda turn out we can get... ya know? Our history with expensive group buys has been bad a few times. Both on our end and the vendors end. Alot of people tend to back out at the end too...

How light are we talking about? I'd love some, but I dunno when I'd be able to do $1k just for rims... I'd help ya manage it if we can get enough people, whether I buy in or not...

How many people we talking about?

I believe the 17's weigh about 15lbs and 18's weigh about 17lbs

I don't know forsure because for some reason the guy's website doesnt like my mac and mozilla or safari. So as soon as I get on my PC i'll look up the exact weight's. But it's around there, they are pretty damn light.

They are the best looking rim we have available for us right now i'll tell you that much.

Our rim selection is...you know... not good..

How many people? Honestly I don't know, i didn't want to project a false number to the guy and get his hopes up.

He may cut us a break on pricing if we get a X amount of people, it's up to him. The manager of the group buy will be talking to the guy about numbers and such...

I know we have had problems with group buy's. But I hope for the best..

Honestly i'm not sure if I will be 100% buying a set myself, but I thought I would pass on the info about the possibility of us having a nice forged lightweight wheel for some of the RL community..
