Charge Cooling

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/coolers/

I saw this in a mag recently and looked a damn good idea but Vortech wants 1500 for a kit. Whats in these things? Magic cooling bunnies? Also would it be possible to make one of these to "pimp our rides". lol

I think that our intercooler core is one of the least restrictive/most efficient things out there. I am less then satisified with our pump, routing, and definatly the heat exchanger. I think you could take 500 or so, and get the resevour, pump and heat exchanger, it might be a good idea, but pass on the core. Ours is better

Magic cooling bunnies from the magic cooling forest. They live in heat exchanger holes and eat impellers.

Using ice in the liquid? Maybe. More weight than power gained, I'm sure. If any. Otherwise, the air will be heated by the supercharger anyway. Adding restrictions as well.

A friend of mine has that same setup on his Vortech'd Mustang. That reseviour is plenty big enought to pour the better part of a small bag of ice in it. and it's not too much of a pain to drain.
