pulley install

i got a pulley boys puller and got the pulley off but on that puller there is a stud that goes in the end onf the 5/8" bolt and into the supercharger and it broke during install. i cant get either end out (bolt and s/c) does any1 know what i could do??? thanks

Ugh, me and JPK struggled with that very thing last night. That little screw that goes into the 5/8" is a POS, I guess its better that that thing broke than something inside the S/C............

mine crossthreaded itself inside the rod. at least it's not going anywhere.

ya ive been working on it i just quit its 2 dark now but i got no where, the pulley is half way on and i cant get the lil screw out of the bolt or the s/c
i figured rip off the s/c and drill it out. i dunno what 2 do

Fortunately for our situation, the bolt broke in the 5/8" bolt and not in the S/C. We had just enough of the snapped bolt sticking outside the S/C that we were able to use a pair of pliers to twist it out. You might want to go look for some thread stock at home depot so when you do get the bolt out of the supercharger you can continue pressing the pulley on. And take the 5/8" bolt with you. We made the mistake of trying to eye-ball it, so we have this big piece of thread stock that doesn't fit. Good Luck
