You hit a curb, crashed into mud?

Well, if you hit a curb, that could snap it right there... suddenly lost control of the wheels... hmmm... not sure.

Lost control of the wheels wouldn't be the driveaxle. It may have broke during the impact..... somehow.... Still doesn't sound right to me, for a driveaxle to break. Even a curb hitting a wheel sideways, unless hitting 40mph+.

Losing control, some sort of suspension arm, or a steering arm broke. Very interesting to see how much you sue GM for.

How can you make a 'simple' left turn, at a high enough rate of speed to snap off a wheel and bend the frame of the car?

Kaz, I would think that a bolt on a control arm or something came loose. Did you have any front end work or anything done lately? Maybe someone left something loose.
