Cruise control went out

i took my car intoday since the cel came on and the cruise control went out on me.... they said that it since i ride my clutch. and i dont. i dont rest my foot on the clutch i know how bad that is. they reseted the clutch switch and gave me a code p0833. and 1182..... im like wtf. im never geting a forced inducted car again...

Yeah, it has absolutely nothing to do with the blower. My c/c doesnt like it if I hold it down to accelerate, it will stop working until I shut the car down and re-start it, then start to function once again. If you're cruising with the c/c on at say 60, and you want to go say 65, just press the accel button 5 times and it will slowly climb to 65. Don't be too busy on the c/c buttons, it doesn't like it. If you need to keep adjusting it, then you shouldn't be using it. just set it and forget it!

btw saturn's are plagued with c/c issues, f/i or not, that's just one of the bugs they have. and before anyone rips into saturn on that, check into electrical systems on some bmws/saabs/audis/etc/etc

Well to start with the 1182 code has nothing whatsoever to do with the cruise control. You have.... drum roll please..... a clueless dealer.... One of many clueless dealerships that have to deal with a car that performs and operates outside of the "girls" Saturn model.

The 1182 is the supercharger inlet pressure sensor performance and means that the numbers are not matching up what it is expecting based on 4 explicit models that the sensor data is compared to. The models use Throttle Body pressure, Throttle position,MAF, BARO, MAP,RPM and of course the supercharger inlet pressure ( I think that is all of them).
