Pitting rims?

Anyone else having that problem with the chrome-finished rims? They are pitting badly and the finish is coming off in places. Any chance Saturn would do anything about it? I think I'd much rather have the gunmetal finish. Also, they are constantly covered in brake dust...I mean covered shortly after I thoroughly clean them.

Is there a finish on the wheels? I have not had a problem with pitting at all, one of the few things that I have not had a problem with.

It's a polished finish, but I guess there may be some clear coat on them. Seems that last year there were at least a few people on here that were having issues with that. The dust is just part of the deal I'm afraid.
