power steering fluid.....inside the car??

Well I was under the dash this weekend and I find that the base of the steering column is covered in power steering fluid.....anyone got any clues about this, obviously I will be bringing it to my dealer but just wanna get some ideas first.

power steering fluid i though we were fly by wire..... i was probally something else. may be just condonsation from the ac

Can't be power steering fluid. We do not have a hydraulic system, it is an electrical motor that assists with steering.

Thats just excess lube from the column and shaft. wipe it off with a rag.

yea it's just a little lube.. nothing to bring it to the dealer for... if you want them to check the power steering system tho i'm sure they would be more then happy to show you the power steering fuse under the hood
