Knock Sensor bad?

I've been getting a lot of knock since January, i've had the intense stage 3 and now i'm running GM stage 1. I'm still getting the SAME amount of knock.

When I was running the intense stage 3 before, I could feel the knock. The motor would studder like crazy when it would knock. Now lately even before the GM stage I get knock and the car doesnt studder and feels strong.

I think the sensor maybe bad? MAYBE... I don't know at this point.

I could be running lean, maybe.. but I don't know anymore..

Is there anyway I can tell if I have a bad knock sensor?

Oh yeah, I get about 1 - 5 degrees of knock..

Can someone also discribe engine knock to me and also discribe how you can tell when you have engine knock.

I'm not sure how to describe engine knock but he is monitoring it with his Interceptor gauge.

dL, I get about 2.5 degrees of knock in the upper rpm band. I was told to open the gap on my plugs to .045 and that should take care of it, for me at least.

I get 3 degrees by 3,500-4,000 rpm usually.

my plugs are set at .045 right now...

hell, I even get knock coming off the line..

I take off normally off the line and I get like 2.5 degrees and under..

2.5 on normal take off is what I would see stock, modded, at all times really... just depends on how I take off. The more slip, the less knock. Usually it's 0.

I see 0 knock top end, FWIW....
