New Code P0443 after Stage 2 install....

Since installing the Stage 2 kit, the wonderful P0171 code I would get everyday is gone, and haven't had since(3 days now) but I have had this new code P0443 since getting back from the dealer. I know that it is the EVAP Emission Purge Solenoid Control Circuit ECM, PCM, and the funny thing is that the tech replaced something that had EVAP emission on the work order. Is it because maybe he didn't unplug the battery before he replaced or if he did, he didn't put in on right??? Does anyone know where this circuit is located at?? I would rather not take it back to the dealer anymore, but if it keeps coming on, then I have no choice. Every morning I erase it using my OBD II scanner....

Man, if you are clearing it every morning then you have a problem. I'd get it checked out. Even if it's a bad fuse it won't cost you anything.

I had the same code set in mine after my install, check the vaccum line hoses. They forgot to plug one of mine in. After they fixed it, no more codes.

Not likely related to the Stage installation at all.The P0443 is an electrical fault detected in the EVAP purge solenoid or circuit. If the solenoid (located at the back of the engine above the transaxle bell-housing) is unplugged it will set this code. It could also be an electrical problem with the solenoid itself. I would take it to the dealer.
