Intercooler problems

Okay,

So we all know ive been having problems with my IAT2 temps being 100degrees hotter than my IAT1.. I took the car into saturn today and got it back tonight, only thing they said was wrong was that the intercooler resevoir had to much dexcool in it.. They said the let it idle for 40mins and didnt notice any leaks, also pressure tested it and no leaks there either.. Im at a loss.. Only thing I can figure out now is that it just isnt working at all.. But the logic that kicks that in the butt is that the temps do fluctuate during driving.. so it has to be working... Maybe it just isnt working efficiently enough.. Any ideas? Help me out on this one guys..

Scott

What were your temps on the way home (1/2)???

Which resevoir did they say was full? The RADIATOR or the IC resevoir/filler neck?

Well, then whatever the issue is, is STILL an issue. I don't care where you are, how HARD your're driving that car the IAT2 should NOT be that much higher than IAT1...I've watched my temps like a HAWK in trouble-shooting OTHER issues - there's no way ANYONE can convince me otherwise. And if it WAS ok, then why did GM bother to put an IC in the car anyway, b/c it's dead weight at this point.

Someone pull the specs on the blower - I'm willing to bet Eaton will state that post-blower temps will be 75-100 after compression...Take THAT to Saturn and see what they say.

Where's WOP - I'm curious as to what he might have to say about this...

Here...does the last graph - delta temp - translate to post-blower temps? I'm no engineer, so I can't read this stuff all the time.

If I'm right, this should be proof enough that something is wrong with that IC...
