Okay, so tonight I raced a Cobalt SS with Stage 2, honed header, GMPP exhaust, K&N CAI, ported s/c and throttle body. My mods: See signature.

So my car hasn't run great and haven't been happy with my IC lately. So blah blah blah, I lost each run from various speeds. Kind of surprised of not even staying with him for pete sakes!

In THE FIRST RUN my freaking IAT2 hit 298 fucking degrees. I ended up hitting 300 on the third run against each other. This is freaking ridiculous. After my car being turned off for 45 minutes and sitting I still was at 188 degrees.

The guy's brother works at a Chevy dealership and told me to bring it in. He said he would actually check the IC himself so I don't have to take it back to the Saturn dealership...oh and all my IC coolant is gone...lovely.

PS: I don't feel my car is running stronger than it was when I had the 2.8" 42.5s and the tuned PCM...time to cough up $175 and go get it dyno tuned...

This sounds like what IERedLine is dealing with...I wonder if this is an epidemic in the making???

Well rlinbatonrouge had his cores leaking but he worked at the dealership and was able to get it taken care of. 300 degrees though, I'm worrying enough if it hits 200.

The only epidemic is a 2.5" pulley scorching the hell out of the cooling system

300 is insane. Totally crazy. I'd stop driving it before you crack the engine block itself. What is the temp reading on the instrument cluster?

The radiator coolant is reading below the half way point on the dash...makes since though since the two are on two different flowing systems.
