Stage Kits?

Need a little info. I read on the Cobalt forums that the GM stage kits are junk. A Tech recommended intense-racing has the best kits. Stage 5 baby!! Your thoughts..

I read that post - Kelleyperformance, right?

I think A LOT of his shit is "had it to here"-type frustrations, combined with what sounds like the infamous "rough idle"...I didn't know 'balts were experiencing that issue, and the fact that they only seem to HAVE that issue AFTER the flash, has me wondering.

Maybe the GM programming has been infected with some crazy, new-age tuning virus...

I haven't heard of ANY Saturn dealerships, essentially pulling the stage kits from the shelves until further notice...seems like a knee-jerk reaction NOT, in any way, handed down from the higher-ups at GM.

Again, just my speculation though.

He claims severe problems and I asked about specifics and they said to read some other post. I started a thread on the cbalt com site to see what kinds of numbers of problems people were having with the stages. With the abundant of people with stage kits whether cobalt or saturn I'm not seeing any problems except for what that particular dealer has run into.I have a 2006 cobalt with a stage 2 and have absolutely no issues. I just took a 400 mile trip over the weekend in 96 degree heat and car was flawless.

Mine RL went into some kind of wierd limp mode twice...both times in fast food drive throughs. When i shut the car off and let it sit for a few secs and started it again it ran fine. I'm also in SE Texas and the heat index both days was 101+ so it might be from heat maybe. If it keeps doin it I was goin to take it in and get the techs to check it out.
