Taking her in...

Taking my baby in for an Oil Change and to get the Intercooler pump fixed hopefully. I'm hoping that Saturn of Macon is better than the Dealership in Ohio. I'll keep you guys posted on the status of her.

Good luck...hey, get this. Last night after running errands I pulled into my parking spot, kept it running and lifted the hood. NO coolant so I pinched the lines, nothing filling up the neck. So I had purchased a gallon of dex-cool for when I get the ice box and HE on and it took a little of it and it filled up the filler neck. Now I don't know what to think. Is it possible there is a clog or is it that the damn pump isn't working?

I dunno man. You need to find a better dealership. I heard Saturn of Kings Automall in Cincy is pretty good.

They (Saturn of Kings) kept saying stuff about taking out my interceptor just so no one throws out the "voiding of warranty flag." I asked why, its just a monitoring device and Saturn up by us says nothing about anything I have. I never called them back...thats just ridiculous.

Try Saturn of Dayton North then. That's where I'll be going once I am back up there.

They should do well Andrew. Steve will be the guy to work on your car, as he has done all the RedLine work there. and after my '04, they have lot's of practice. Say hey to Twila and Christie for me.

They did do good work. Turns out my Intercooler pump was wired backwards. I was told by Saturn of Dayton South that it was wired correctly.

I recomend Saturn of Macon, they are friendly and the Tech knew exactly what was wrong.

Should have been Steve, that did the work. They really did go the extra mile for me when it came to dealing with Saturn Corp. they were also good enough to admit when they were stupmed and called in to corp for help.

just don't ask about stages, I'm still working on that one...

Easy way to check: Pull your return hose from the neck and stick the end in a bucket. Then start the car. If fluid starts pumping out, then you know your pump is working.

The only way to really check for a blockage is to pressurize the system and see if you can circulate coolant that way.
