ok so who is running a short ram and do you throw codes

i have a k&n cold air now... i recc these to most of my cust well i found water in the tubing today. should not be there. NO I DID NOT drive through water DONT ASK...after the car sat and i started driving i noticed the same problem i always have with it... any way i may be starting to feel the short ram is actually safer than the cai.. the cai point upwards so and water that does hit the filter go down into the pipe. at least with the short ram the filter is aimed downwards and water doesnt travel up.. unless you go through deep enough to suck it up which sorry but you have to be an idiot to be driving through water that deep anyway... so who's got em and how good/bad are they. i did dyno all of them a while back and had them all on the car but i never drove the car to see the differences... otherwise im gonna try the new aem drycharger with the bag over it for additonal water prevention.. thanks

I have AEM short ram 6000 miles no codes

I have one for about 6000+ miles and no codes... and I think it's great. Haven't driven one with the K&N so don't know the difference....
