yeah hes fuckin with ya limp mode is usually caused when the computer thinks the engine is giong real lean its a piston protection thing. going into limp mode sucks but its a good thing when it comes to the longevity of your motor.

Good one Andrew!

Jack, your lucky you didn't have the floor pan drop out!!!

It's wierd that people are getting limp mode from bumping the limiter. In second, the limiter is around 64 mph, so you should have been okay there, but even if you throttled up and hit the limiter,, I'm talking out my ass,

Did you match engine speed before going into gear? That might do it, going from say fourth gear at 55 to second, without increasing engine speed to match. That would be one hell of a shock to the system...

Hmmm, no I floored it then dropped it... so I was all the way up at 7k when I dropped to second going 55 mph.

Oh and I was in third gear... I am still playing with my stage two and cant keep the rpms under 4K

Hmmm... Well perhaps you just hit limp mode... LOL It most likely that simple.. Driver mod? You mentioned something about you losing power in upper rpms? Maybe you pushed it too hard, due to the loss of power and hit the limiter.. When we get together again.. We can flash you with just my stage 1...... And see if that helps.. How is she running otherwise?
