If I were you I would stop what I am doing. Replace the screws you took out, and start cleaning. I see no reason to take your seat out for cleaning purposes. I've never taken my seats out even for stereo installs.

If you have that much time to clean, I'd say clean under the hood. I just did mine yesterday and it took me about 3 hours.

Under the passenger seat is a great place for a small amp.

As for the seats, I think it helps to slide the seat all the way back (after you take the bolts out) and tip the backrest up as straight as possible. Then tip the whole seat forward. Unfortunately, getting them back in can be slightly difficult. The front tabs don't always want to line up and it's easy to grab the adjuster while handling the seat which lets the tracks slide. They aren't hooked together side to side so you need to start over and adjust the rails equally on each side.

I've taken out the seats a couple times... to swap the bottom parts btwn driver/pass. sides and just last week to kill a squeek that's been driving me insane for two weeks. Like they said, take out the two back bolts, tilt forward and they'll come right out
note, if possible don't lift them out by the slider lock jam, it'll make the two sides kinda get offset and a little harder to line back up when reinstalling

and welcome to the boards jessica

I had all seats (front and rear) removed within 15 min. It really is quite simple.
