just found out about the intercooler wiring

I just returned to the forms to find my Ic pump has been wired wrong for 42,000+ miles......Wow im pissed....I just cut and switched the wires and there is no bubbling in my filler neck......It should bubble at idle when the car is even cold right?

Slightly. You'll notice it more if you get someone to rev the car. Make sure the temp gauge is @ normal levels (needle @ half), to get full effect.

Do you feel a power lag? Even w/ 90 degree ambient temps my car runs strong. I imagine w/o the IC pump, the car would dog.

If so, and for that many miles, talk to a knowledable tech. Chance are your IC pump is screwed and in need of replacement. If you brought it in before warranty was up (if u don't have extended), I bet you can talk you way into a new pump.

How full is your neck? You won't usually see much movement if it's filled about the "full" line.

I had mine switched at the dealer last week and I've seen a noticable difference. It's great having some more power.

Dont go to the dealer, 12v jumper test the pump. If you put a jumper on the wires, does the pump turn over? if no then replace the pump.

if the pump is working, you should be able to hear it. Jumper it when the car is off, it makes it alot easeir to hear the pump working.
