Arrow supercharger grinding noise

everyone I took my car in so they could look at my car concerning a grinding noise that is comming from the roots in the supercharger.
Now they said the supercharger might be bad and that I might need a new one but they wont cover it under my warranty since I have a stage 3 insane kit.

What is this grinding noise and what can I do to fix it.

They check my engine and I guess they had it hooked up with a computer and they said my car is pushing 20 lbs. but I only get 14lbs and everything else gets dumped. They said I should get or upgrade my acuator so it doesn't dump it.

Any ideas because I dont know what to do.
I really hope my supercharger isn't bad.

The grinding is a fairly common thing...I think there are some posts on here about it - personally, I'm sending mine into Steigemeir to get rebuilt and ported...he's running a special. A while back, he posted something about these S/Cs grinding against the outer walls, which is rebuild process accounts and corrects for. Better deal than buying a whole new S/C.

As far as dumping boost, hook up with someone that has HP Tuners and flash it with a tune that doesn't bleed boost - you can tell the computer when, if at all, to bleed and how much.

And if you don't wanna do that, or can't, there's always the option of running a manual boost controller, which will allow you to dial in the boost you want to run. I've got one, but never installed it - got the custom tunes now, so it'll be up for sale as soon as I move to FL.

Why would the car dump boost with the intense kit?
