Angry Uninstalled Rev-It-Up now problem>>>>>

Ok took out the SMT-6 but left the 2.8" pulley on and just used the MBC and turned down the boost. Well I don't have a boost gauge but i took the knob out about 2 or 3 threads so it's leaking boost so the 2.8" isn't fully boosting so not enough fuel isn't the problem.

Here is the problem ....the passlock problem that happened 2 times last week which usually happened once every couple months. Well now I can't start the car cause it keeps saying Service Vehicle. The car did start right up and drive 1 time went to go start the next time and now it just keeps me from starting it.

will saturn tow it to them for free still 27k miles. Only mod on the car is 2.8 pulley and 3" exhaust now.

Yeah, hopefully they will probably be cool, just tell them the passlock sensor is inconsistent. It really is unrelated to mods. If they are a good dealer they should just warranty the repair. Definetly good advice to make it appear as stock as possible though, as stated above^ , 'cause if they wanna be pricks...

Hey, call up the guys down in Tucson...they'll take care of you, trust me.

Might even be the closest dealer to you anyway, no?

They watch these boards every now and again - they're cool.

Maybe i'll give them a call. Actually its freaking random now. It wouldn't start like 8 cylcles in a row. I said screw it. Went to start my car this morning and it fired right up lol. And all the wires are soldered together except for 1. Which i got it together pretty good and will solder asap.

There's really nothing that the RIU box wiring can do to affect it in the manner you describe- providing you reconnect the severed circuits. The "Service Vehicle" indicates that you have something non-engine related that is wrong and a DTC is likely set in some other module on the car. Now if you had a CEL, (Service Engine Soon) that would be a different story.

Are you sure you didnt accidentally leave something disconnected under the hood? Also- Make sure you didnt accidentally short something out and blow a fuse in either the underhood fuseblock or BCM. Use a test light to check them all and maybe you can prevent a trip to the dealer.

Well yesterday when my wife had the car the check engine light came on and it won't go off. I am going to go to Autozone today to have them check the code. THe check engine light came on 2 days before I took out the SMT-6 so it's not realated to the wireing.

Some sensor broke lol.
