I think there's a TSB about the right rear door. As for the rest, I can tell you what your car is saying. It's saying "I was made by GM."

All my GM cars over the years have rattled.

I found this on RL forums:
Quote:
Subject: Creak or Popping Noise from Rear Access Door Area (Adjust Lower Rear Door Striker) TSB#06-08-64-015 - Released 03/28/2006

Models: 2003-2006 Saturn ION Quad Coupe

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Condition
Some customers may comment on a creak or popping noise coming from behind the driver and/or front passenger, which may originate from the rear access door area.

Cause
The noise from the rear access door(s) may be caused by a lower rear door striker that is mounted too far forward. This may cause the striker to rub against the rear door structure.

Correction
Inspect the rear door striker for witness marks (shiny area) where the lower rear door striker comes into contact with the door. Also inspect along the forward edge of the latch opening on the bottom side of the rear access door. If any evidence of rubbing is found, adjust the lower rear door striker rearward approximately 3 mm (0.12 in)

You think it's noisy, now? Wait until you lower it. I have a vast assortment of pops, creaks, rattles, & clunks. You might try giving your quad door a good slam since they don't close well.

Too bad the noise is coming from the top of the rear door and not the bottom. Also, there are no rubbing marks. I think my noise is coming from a defect with the structure that holds the driver side window in place, but I've had no luck getting the dealer to belive me...

ok a class action lawsuit might be a touch over the top for some noises coming out of the int of a car. hell every car is like this over all, i know the glass in the rear hatch/trunk area on both stangs squeeks when u get on the gas or a brakes too hard.

There is a new TSB out that was released a few months ago. I don't have the number, but I remember the fix was to either roll down your windows at highway speeds or crank the radio up to over half volume. I love GM.
