HELP! Failed emissions (WOP?)

Well I had Dan's tune installed last night -- 60# injectors, 2.6 pulley, custom tune.

Went to get my inspection today; emissions failed The following are inconculsive:

Catalyst Mon -- Inc

Evap Sys Mon -- Inc

02 Sensor Mon -- Inc

02 Senson Htr -- Inc.

Weird thing is, I did the "test"--driving a certain way for 10 mins-- for the 02 and got it to pass, then it went to inc. again.

Anyway, I'm friends w/ the auto shop. He gave me his scan tool and told me to drive all day, which I plan on doing. I've put about 80 miles on the car since the tune.

Will this resolve itself, or should I do something?

Thanks!!

Jon

They check for CELs, but they also test the emissions system. The emissions system has to be "online" in order for it to pass.

When you reset the PCM (like flashing) you knock the emissions system into an "offline" state for a certain peroid of time. I can't remember if it's miles, or key cycles, or a combination of the two.

Just drive it for a few days, and they'll go back to a ready state.

04's now get hooked up to the computer.. and the 05's will now too... anyway the car has IM flags that need to be passed by the computer to allow for the car to be inspected... ions are a PITA to have the systems pass.. it takes a full day of driving to get them to learn it correctly.. where as 30 mins of driving with an S-series it can pass all of them... anywya drive it all day and do a lot of different driving(highway, back roads, stop and go) make sure the car gets alot of different type of driving types to help it pass

That's what I plan on doing.

The scan tool just informed me the cat test is OK. Need to work on the other ones...don't ask why I did that last night. Wasn't thinking lol...
