Car dies and steering locks up

Car dies and steering locks up this happens when i go over a bump hard happened 4 times with me alone and 2 time while mopar angel was driving im scared to death to drive the saturn

Umm, first off when ANY car with POWER steering loses steering with loss of power...funny how power steering needs power huh..

Car dieing going over a bump, can't help ya on that one.

losing power steering is ok with me..... my steering locks up. it dont move at all like when u take out the key and try to turn the wheel it locks it.....

Yet another? That is so NOT cool.

How many have reported this so far? It's gonna take someone getting in a crash before Saturn issues a TSB.

No...I've just seen a few "lost power" or whatever. Now lost steering, while in motion? I have a phobia about that...

i took the car in all they could do is chech every thing the grounds and codes but nothing. just gave me the latest reflash

it happened to me i went over a bump too fast the steering locked up and the car lost all power.........they tell me it is a safety feature and the car thinks its in a wreck.......? lol but everything is fine they say
