I need help!

Ok, so to bring you guys up to speed I blew my motor which had a 2.7, 60's a cobra h/e and catless dp, and recently got in back on the road. Well I decided to trade my injectors for some stage 2's and pretty much everything else I kept. I did'nt have the money to buy a 2.8 so my friend who tuned my car commanded the bypass sol. to open at 94% to keep it at the boost of a 2.8, well ever since I had it running it has had some hesitation in the higher rpm's (4500-redline) I recently bought an interceptor and it says I have sometimes near 5.5 kr.. The other day I was giving a friend a ride and a wot run thru 3-4 brought on the kr, so I shifted into 5th to slow it down, when I shifted it backfired and shut off. The car started and revved fine, but now it seems to have a louder ricy tone to it. I believe it blew a dp gasket and that is the noise. I also get backfiring from time to time when I'm in gear foot off the gas. But back to the kr. I know that when the temps outside are cooler that you have more volume of air which keeps iat's down and thus reduces detonation, and since it's got warmer out the car has more kr under wot. I think it has too much timing for the warmer wheather. what do you guys think. also I have ngk bkr7e spark plugs( one step colder) and I run at least 92 in it. what do you guys think?

Your car hates you. if you blew your motor on a 2.7 with 60lbs why would you beat on the car with a 2.7 with 42lbs gheez good luck

I think 2.7's on 42's is a bad idea. Up that pulley and get re tuned in my opinion

You're maxing out the 42's. Get 60's, and find someone who knows what the fuck they're doing with HPT, because that's two engines and two setups now where your engine runs really shitty during pulls. Has he used a wideband on it?

And yeah, in warmer weather it is a good idea to adjust the timing.

The title to the post is I need help, not lets be an asshole. If I wanted useless comments, then yes yours would be helpful but it's not. Also the reason the motor blew was because of a kinked h/e hose. I already know that the 2.7 is too small for the 42's which is why if you read, the boost solenoid is opening at 94%. I am currently a college student and funds for a new pulley aren't there. If you'd like you can reply to this, I'm sure it would help your post whore status I am impressed though 7 mo. and 2300 post(ask yourself how many were useless).......end rant. Also to the other post, my car ran great on the 60's but the kinked h/e ended that fun

What other one??

Even with a dead I/C pump, your car won't blow up from that alone. If the timing was way advanced and you were really pushing the car, and maybe someone had tuned down the knock sensitivity or some shit like that, then the car could let go. There would have to be something other than a H/E failure.
