Installed new intake manifold.....

So The install is completed, and I burped the system.. filled it with dexcool.. etc.. Only problem is now my TEMPS are still 100degree different!!!! This freakin sucks.. Im not sure what the hell my problem is anymore.. I guess the pump could be the problem.. But I verified that it was working by using the batter method.... Allthough after driving around for about 5 mins I got out of the car, and took some plyers and crimped down on the hose and didnt see the coolant rise but maybe 1 inch.. which would imply that my pump isnt pumping right?

you still gotta bleed that sh-t out man, then youll see the differences!...you gotta fill it to the brim...crank, let it burp, fill while the engine is running, then drive around the block, and repeat... until the dexcool stays in the filler neck.

If you pull the outlet side of the intercooler filler neck off, does it pump water up and out of the hose? If so, pump is good, if not, pump is bad...

ur best bet to see ifthe pump works is pull it off the car and bench test it with a 12v elecrtical converter thing..I dide that and found out that my pump would only work if pressur was applied to the bottom where the electrical plug is...It seems as if the littlew metal pins holding it together werent pushing hard enough...I made a lil bracket to push there and it worked but then the braqcket fell off so im just going to buy a new one....ASlo i read on hre some peeps had theirs go out a lil over 30,000 miles not sure how many u have or if any of this helps...

Couldn't one simply unplug the hoses and turn the car on and see if it is blowing air? LFP has pumps for $140, even though the dealership should replace it under warranty.

I can never get the filler neck to stay full...I pour coolant in and the neck fills up, but I guess it could be the air bubbles keeping it from pouring down and properly filling. Last time I was at the dyno I could see the coolant flowing all up in there, much of which came pouring out. I am hoping LFP gets the supertank back soon because it will allow pressure to escape and I can finally remove the filler neck.

Scott-Did you at least pull the cores out of the first one and see if there was any coolant on them proving they possibly were leaking in the first place? I mean, after getting the new one on that is.

Also, what are the chances of a bad MAP sensor? Have you actually had the car dyno'd and see the loss of power due to heat soak or is the car possibly just registering high temps?

Last time my car was on the dyno it only had 220whp...

I find it odd though that my car will be sitting for several hours and I'll go outside at like 7am when it is 70 degrees and my IAT2 will register 176 degrees.

The car loses power on the top end in massive amounts.. Its pretty scary...pretty much after second gear it has no power.....I didnt actually take out the cores of the old manifold.. Since it looked to be pretty clean...
