missing idle

last night i was out and lined up against a 05 mustang gt. we went 3 times, all three times i beat him by about a car and a half. okay, after that about 20 mins, my car started ideling really low. it was missing. it would go but from 2000-3000 rpms it was missing bad. so i parked it. this morning it was fine. is there anything i need to be concerned about or what do you guys think?

All I can think is that it's related to heat? You must have been running pretty hot after all those runs.
