C0847 code????

I have been throwing a code for about 2 weeks, and I never check it cause its always a rich code cause my car is retarded. Well I finally went out and took the lap top out there and it is a code C0847. I checked it out and its a Device Ignition 1 Circuit Low PSCM. What does that mean and should I take it to dealer?? I hate going there and I dont really want them dicking with the car if they dont have too. Has anybody had this??

Sounds like your Power Steering COntrol Module isn't getting enough voltage.

check the 2A eps fuse to see if it is blown, if it is good, test the ignition 1 voltage circuit of the PCM for an open if that is good make sure u have good connections at the BCM and PCM if everythign looks good then most likely u will ahve to replace the EPS module, which is the whole steering column.

if the fuse is blown and when u replace it and turn the car on and the fuse pops do the same thing replace the eps module

Have also seen this DTC intermittently caused by a loose or corroded ground connection up at G109, which is the stud on the firewall/bukhead up next to the LH strut tower.
Providing the 2A EPS fuse in the interior fuseblock (iBCM) is NOT blown, I would clean and tighten G109 next and try it a bit to see if it resets.If it does, THEN you can move on to the connections at the BCM and PSCM.

Ya, I am under warranty but I just dont like taking the car in unless it is something major. I will go through and check the stuff you said and what WOP said. Defidently appreciate some feedback on this!! No one posted anything for the first week so i thought something major was wrong!
