Stall then won't start?!?!

I let someone drive my redline tonight, not being too graceful with a cluth they stalled out, then the car wouldn't start right away it had to sit for about a minute or two before it would start, it would just crank but not fire up. any one have any advice?

Given the amount of fuel these cars dump, it was most likely flooded.

I had the same thing happen once. I think the PCM cuts off the fuel pump if rpm goes to 0 after the engine was originally started. It takes some time after rpm is detected to turn it back on. Turning the key completely off before restarting will turn it back on without the rpm check IIRC. There is a thread here somewhere on this topic but I'm too lazy to find it for you.

Happened to me when I was learning to drive my car. Stalled out in a turn lane... Tried to restart... Nada... Completely missed the light... Started up after a few mins. It happens.
