Hmmmz? Info needed...

Ok, I was installing my cobra H/E and noticed something odd. Our little coolant resevior right in front with a screw cap on it that has our pink dex-cool stuff in it, well, ya know the hose feed that is to the right side of this, well its a small rubber hose coming off the right side. Where does this tie into? And what purpose does it serve becuase I just noticed mine is not connected? Fantastic?

It's an air vent/overflow tube...leave it.

Yeah, I think we all scratched our heads when we saw that hose not hooked to anything for the first time.

I'm still trying to figure out why the EPA allowed GM to install an overflow tube that dumps onto the ground.

And then what...just vanishes into thin air?

Gotta go somewhere, from there - which I think is Jay's point.

I've actually seen that hose positioned to drain ON the fans, on the shrowd, and straight down!
