Spring Help Please!!!!!!!

Ok so as some of you know i have had trouble with my B&G springs since me and vinny installed them a couple months ago. and things are getting worse.

Let me start off by saying that i know everything was put back right and me and vinny made sure everything was torqued back to stock spechs during the install, so nothing is loose under there or assembled wrong.

It started out as just a clunk from the front passanger side strut when i would go over speed bumps(and i go over them slow). At first i figured(and was told) that the springs just needed to settle in and seat right, and the noise would go away. Well it didnt... in fact it has only gotten much much worse, and spread to the driver side strut, as well as blossomed into a beautifull aray of fucked up noises from my front end .

The clunk from going over bumps has become much more prominent, and now comes from both sides...at first it was a muffled clunk, now its a full on clank/clunk(sounds like metal on metal).

also, now when im on even a slightly bumpy road there is all kinds of chattering(vibration noise) and rattling coming from the front struts. and if i hit a decent bump, while going moderate speed, its some loud banging clunking action that sounds like my front end is getting ripped off!

funny thing is once im up to speed, the suspension takes all the bumps and contours of the road very smoothly with no problems and only an ocassional small clunk/thud here and there(the volume knob on the radio fixes that).

at the dealership my tech kinda blew it off and basically told me that noise from lower springs is normal and if it bothers me that much, then to go back to stock(which at this point doesnt sound so bad). I know that some noieses here and there are to be expected with springs, but this is in no way normal noise. its getting to the point where i dont even like to drive my car that much any more b/c of it.

if i jack the car up, and take the wheel off, i can jerk and pull on every little part of the damn suspension and cant get it to even tick/clunk/knock one little bit... so its only when the weight of the car is resting on the struts.

i have been told several things:

1) the springs arent seated right... well the end of the srpings is pushed all the way up against the butt on the part of the strut that supports the spring, so ya, seated a.o.k.
2)that B&G's are shit(and designed for ion QC's, not redlines), and that switching to the sprints, or eibachs(both of which were designed for IRL)would take care of the noises.
3)that the noise is due to the car getting up there in milage, and wear in tear results in more noise/vibration.

any ideas guys? im going nutts with this over here. if i cant figure it out, im gonna go back to stock and save up for the coil overs and do away with this spring/strut setup all together.

The Eibachs are NOT desgned for the IRL, but work fine.

I thought I installed mine wrong, but then realized that my spare/jack wasn't tightened all the way

deff not the jack... i can clearly hear my loose jack rattle in my trunk this is from the front struts.

thats what i have been leaning twords, but i live in an apartment, and lack the tools to do so on my own. i havnt had much luck hooking back up with vinny or anybody else who has what i need, schedules are too conflicting and everybody has had ALOT going on lately. i can go buy everything i need to do it myself, but i have been spending all my money on more go fast parts instead... ya im an idiot. i guess i should concentrate on whats wrong with the car before trying to add more power

There is a linkage attached to the end of the sway bar that connects to the lower contril arm. Each end has a swivel type of joint. They get loose and can make noise.

Everyone has the B+Gs so that's not the problem. Did you remove the traction bars to eliminate them as the cause?

Mine clunk whenever I'm backing up or turning really slow. Sounds like they might be binding. Sounds like crap and I'm usually emberassed when I go to leave somewhere, all eyes on me, clunk, pop, snap. Nice exit...
