16 MPG... Why?

I'm not sure why my Redline has been getting under 20 MPG since I purchased it with 3500 miles. I haven't yet checked the air filter but I plan on it tomorow. I just don't understand.. my average RPM range is 4000-6000 and it runs great.

No just playing, my average RPM range is 2000-3000. I usally shift around 2600 in each gear to keep it at a steady 2000 when cruising. Anybody have any recommendations on what to check along with the filter? Could I need a reflash or tune up from a dealer? Thanks peace peace

lol i know someone's going to say something smart ass, but you got 2 other people that are in the same predicament and we haven't been able to find shit.

i'm going for a custom tune soon to see how it works, i think it's the stock tune we have

me and sheek360 all have the same problem as you and we haven't been able to find crap

you can attempt to go to your dealer but neither of us have had any luck

wouldnt it be more likely that you all have the same mechanical problem? It seem unlikely to me that 4 of all RL's have a totally different tune

but what could possibly be the mechanical problem>? all hoses have been checked, i've checked the air filter and the plugs (which are SLIHGLTY rich, but nothing horrible all and all)

You guys just need to strip your cars so there's less weight..

less weight = better gas mileage.....
