Arrow High pitched hum

Hey everybody! It seems like my 2004 IRL makes a crazy high pitched hum after I start it when it's been sitting for a while. It goes away and it's not that big of a deal I hope. I was just wondering if anyone may know what in the world it is. Thanks in advance!

When my car's cold, the exhaust resonates throughout the car at a particular RPM. I guess you could describe that as a "hum." You can feel the resonation through the body panels and e-brake.

If that's what your car is doing, then it's a normal by-product of the exhaust note.

DOn't know how sensitive your ears are, but when I had my rear seats removed, I could hear the fuel pump like crazy! I guess it could be described as a high pitched hum.

I think the exhaust resonating sounds like what I've got. It's only when it's cold and it souds like it's coming from the e-brake. Thanks a lot guys.
