In my mom's old SC2 (she just traded it in a few months ago) the water pump and the head gasket (i think thats what it was) broke, and she had maybe 500 miles on her warranty and they fixed it with no fuss and no issues.

Got a year of free oil changes out of that one!

About the painting, you are not talking about the scratches above the "S A T" in saturn, are you? That could not have been caused by the trunk getting closed. Its hairline scratches right below the trunk lid when it is actually closed. But yeah, the TSB is to install the rubber bumpers. That's the fix.

I guess we'll see. I am also 23, they treat me how I should be treated. They even let me take out a V6 Aura on Monday when they were swapping out my rear motor mount for me.

I'm not saying wrong wrong in any way shape or form, but maybe the guys you have to deal with are dicks. I have yet to hear a complaint from anyone in Florida about their dealership yet.

Ya know, my black Redline has scratches just like that! I'll take pictures later and post them. So with that TSB, they'll actually replace the bumper? or what exactly will they do to fix it?

Mine has the same scratches. However the last thing I need is take my car in for something you can only see when the trunk is open. I like my car in my dway as often as possible
