After a battle with them about this TSB i actually had to bring the document in that WOP sent to me with the TSB and the vehicles covered by it. They tried to tell me on 3 seperate occasions that the TSB did not cover my car only the ion-3. I ended up calling saturn canada and freaking out over it. Wouldn't ya know it , the dealership called the next day and asked me to bring my car in. They were able to buff the scratches out and adjust the trunk so it didnt hit the bumper anymore. They didnt do the plastic strip or the bump stops. That was well over a year ago and I haven't had problems with it since.

I'm actually going tomorrow for an oil change and to get those bumper scratches fixed. Does this TSB still tell the techs to fix it with the stickers? Or will they fix it the right way by making those rubber stoppers longer?

GUYS that fix is MY FIX.... the dealers do not even know about it... their tsb says to drill 3 holes under the trunk lid and put these 3 huge clear stickers on the bumper so the 3 pieces of rubber do not eat through the paint... the fix i posted is MY OWN FIX... and after seeing it my dealer does them all this way now since everyone complained about those ugly stickers.... they are the same stickers as the ones under the hood the cover the holes in the underside of the hood.... big and ugly... without them the rubber will scratch up the bumper anyway.... read my thread this is the fix you will need to do to make it right...
