yeah I wish I could get refunded but I dont even know how to go about trying. it seems like once again im going to take the hit for this one. if I was rich enough I'd try to do something about it. saturn blames it on CM and CM blames it on saturn.

Actually dude - I've talked to CM I don't know how many times in the last 2 weeks, and they LOVE using YOUR car as an example that it works...the last TWO times, I've gone above and beyond in correcting them with "ACTUALLY, Mike's a friend of mine, and his car is NOT fixed, in fact, it's possible the tranny synchros or F'd up now..." To which I get the, "oh really" response.

I'm not above calling around and giving some lawyers the low-down...it'd have to be a car-guy, and probably a pro-bono case.
I mean, at the very least, I think we should be refunded parts, labor, and car-payment for the duration the car was down due to THEIR "F-ups".

Yet, I'm giving C-M a chance to make it right...although I just don't see how that's possible without a $2k check.

matt if your serious and maby if we can get a few more people to chime in I would persue it with you and fight it. the wife wants me to take it to the JAG officers on base. honestly I would be happy with a refund for the clutch/flywheel labor charges and the cost of a new tranny.

I've been debating taking a trip out to MacDill myself, but I'm guessing being Active Duty, you'd get a better response if you did it. All they can say is no, ya know? And if there are MULTIPLE people involved, it might be a little more incentive.
I know MY dealership is all for sticking it to CM, as they've been LESS than impressed with their responses to the issues over the weeks.

I'm pretty sure we could get everyone involved listed in the 1st post, as well as a couple Cobalt guys.

thats good at least you have found a dealer who truly wants to help you.

so if you want to do something about it we can just say the magic words man. in fact i have printed alot of the issues that others are having on other forums. if you talk to CM again and they bring up my car tell them the only reason I havent came back to them is because im not there other wise I would have gaven them the big whiskey tango foxtrot

I say go for it, take what you got to JAG (including this thread if necessary) and see what they say...at the VERY least, they should at least be able to give us some info on how to go about this situation.

As of now, I'm supposed to pull the clutch and send it back via RMA# to CM and go from there for getting a refund from CM/UltraRev...but I'm not the only one thinking I should see a little more reimbursement for everything that's we've done/been through over this.
Obviously, you're in the same boat.

Aye-Aye...lemme know if you need anything from me...you might be right about the distance thing, but with you maybe coming back, and the number of people we have stateside having these issues, I'm sure SOMETHING can be worked out.

I'm gonna do some digging myself...

And in my quick/short digging, I've found that CM has had two complaints through BBB, both of which were paid "a full refund, as the customer requested". I wonder if all of us should file complaints as "step one" and go from there. Parts is one thing, but the labor and everything else is the killer on this deal.
