Hard bog

Yesterday I was along side my friend in her rsx type s and I see she wants to go for it. So I drop it to 3rd and go wot and my bogged hard like if it hit the rev limiter but I was barley at 4K and the tranny light and engine light come on and the car starts to run like crap. So I parked at a lot and turned it off and check the oil but it looked fine. Turned it on and no CEL so I go home. Then later I tried it again and same thing. So has this ever havent to anyone. I'm going to take it in tomorrow for a oil change and to get it checked since i'm still under warranty.

I had the same thing happen to me one time when my filter on my Weapon R rattled loose and dropped into the engine cradle. I also had this happen to me while my laminova cores were leaking and not cooling the intake charge. More than likely this is your problem. Check your CAC coolant system or leaks or check that your IC pump is working properly.

THis happened to me when I forgot to hook up the breather tube to the intake. It made it pull in a lot of unmetered air.
