Electric Fuel Pressure gauge install questions

Has anyone installedf an electric fuel pressure gauge and installed the NPT and sending unit somewhere other than right on top of the bleeder valve there on the fuel rail,has anyone cut the fuel line and installed the sending unit on the backside of the valve cover out of the way where the fuel line is run,just looking for options and pics if anyone has any thanks....50iddy

^you might want to try on satfans...waaaaaaay more NOx ridden IONS are over there...

nope ran mine off the pressure relief valve on the fuel line right before the rail
seemed like the logical spot since you're taking the pressure reading from the point you're supposed to use to relieve pressure.........

^oh yea...forgot about that little pressure relief valve...it looks like a valve stem...good call bc3...

he knows about that one, but said he didn't want to use it for some reason...

Personal;y, I would run a 'T' off the bleeder, that way you can still have full funtionality.. or run nitrous

Being it'ds a non return system it doesn't matter where you put the sending unit the pressure is the same everywhere,the reason I don't want to put it off the relife valve is it looks like crap there out of place,was thinking maybe someone did something creative and tucked it away nice somewhere,just looking for ideas...50iddy

i dont think anyone on here has done a fuel pressure gauge yet. you are the pioneer...

...mayby one of the Florida STC guys (vinny) has some insight into this...
