now that's just not right. Is your dealership staffed by a bunch of retards? Someone here blew the motor with a 50 shot, put it back to stock and they still didn't cover it. How did you manage that, seriously??

Good for him for having it done on warranty. Big deal, they should make these engines a little tougher. Seems like they are on the fragile side.
I would do the same thing in his position.

Not that my opinion matters here, but to voice my opinion...I agree with the others on this one!! They wouldn't cover my tranny when it blew up and I felt that it was resonable issue. The fact that this guy was running an Intense tune and racing someone @ 130+ is just stupid on his part, he deserve what he got. The engine can take a beating but when you have a shitty tune from a even shittier company that's your own stupidity and you should pay the price.

Agreed with the word "should". But I'm still glad he got it under warranty. The piston skirt design seems a bit weak on these LSJ. They don't seem to like detonation one bit.
These cars should come with a detonation gauge or at least the check engine light coming on when the computer detects a little too much KR.

i will not take sides here but i will say that yes playing dumb DOES get a lot done.. if you know how to really play dumb... and if you make 150% sure everything goes back to stock. i know TONS of people with all different cars like sti's, srt4's etc who have had everything under the sun fixed under warranty
