they called it that, because i told them it had too many miles on it. it had 800 when i bought it. i asked them to make it a demo for the reduction in price. I'm not the only one with this problem in their redlines, trust me.

Not surprised, just starting with the obvious. It's the tech support showing through.

Good luck. Keep updating on it.

UPDATE:

found out that my cat has been bad since I bought it. and got it replaced today. also, my coolant resivor had a crack in it and had it replaced today.

well since that cat replacement, my mufflerless exhaust that sounded good, now became 10x louder. so time for a muffler.

but i can't beleive how much more power my car has now since i bought it. and maybe the reason for my low hp number of 192whp.

Well, my CEL came on this early (and I mean early) morning. I turned off the engine more than a few times to see if it would reset on its own. I guess its time to go to the dealer......

Oh and I'm just at 22,000 miles...........

Took the car in yesterday, as I was driving to the dealership, in typical fashion the CEL turned off. Service manager said he could still find out what was wrong w/the car even though it went off. Diagnosis is Supercharger inlet sensor. Even though I didn't purchase my car from Saturn of Irving, they have a great Service Department Part is ordered and should arrive by later this week.............

supercharger inlet sensor was fixed. I have no real idea what it is, but the spike I used to get at 4K RPMs is back. I'm not sure if maybe I'm just "feeling things" but if this caused my MPG to dip then its quite possible that it also hindered performance. Also there was a recall campaign done on my car for some fuel line or what not. I'll post details on another thread though.....

Raven, I am having the same problem with the P0420 error code and they are going to replace my cat on Monday.

I was just wondering if you had any other problems after they replaced your cat or was it all cleared up? since I just purchased a 2005 redline with only 2500 miles and within the first week am experiancing this problem.

thanks
