Opinions...Does this look normal to You???

I was poking around under the hood today and lo and behold I find oil leaking from my valve cover. I phoned my dealer to book an appointment to get this checked out, and to get them to check out my rims because the paint is already peeling off them, and the service guy asks me to describe the leak. He then says that it sounds like seepage, and that they probably won't do anything about it until it until it gets worse. The car is an 07 with 23 000 km, in my mind this seems a little odd, both his response and the fact that it's leaking.I know that I'm probably jumping the gun, they haven't even seen the car yet. But what do the rest of you think? End of rant, we will now return to normal programming

That's not normal at all. Just a stab, but it looks like the gasket just needs to be replaced. They should be able to fix it pretty easily if that's the case.

Could be more serious, but idk.

it has never been the problem with the high performance car,,its always been the issue of placing that car into the hands of a low performance driver

Defiantly not normal man. Are you going to the dealership in Regina? The service guys are pretty good there.. I haven't had any problems with them so far.. although the person who answered the phone when I had a problem with my car after the recall gave me the run around too...lol

Yeah I agree with everyone else here, not normal. Mine has nearly 70K miles now, and no leaks at all.The only oil I see is what I spill when filling it, lol.
