Unhappy My RL went haywire

My RL went haywire while driving just a little while after starting it today it threw about six codes including a power steering and crank sensor, the battery light flashed then the car just died. I sat on the side of the road for about five minutes started it back up and then drove it home for a scan. Now this was like a six block drive total. Then to the dealership, the crank sensor code stayed off once I cleared it and never came back so far and the tech cleared the steering code nothing so far either. I drove it for a test run with the tech and it ran fine again. Any ideas I stumped the techs...lol.
Im gonna go get the DTCs right now and post them up.

Must have been a glitch in the bcm. Maybe a power spike or something to make it think all the sensors were sending codes or somehing.

Thanks for looking at this Watts...

I think the P0335 is what caused the big FAIL and from what I have read around this forum I am not the first to get that code. And it seemed like no one got it again after getting the first time.
Now was that because they changed the BCM when it happened or it just never came back?

Well after the tech cleared all the codes I only have the two usual codes the P0171 and the P0420 from my intake and high flow cat.

I have never jump started this car but I am the second owner, the first owner had put 9k miles on it before they traded in. I have jump started three other vehicles using the box top and ground point on the car.

I took it in and I have another PCM sitting in Saturn's parts for my RL but I don't think that the god damn dealership has gotten their computers and the TECHII upgraded to flash the STGII calibration on the new PCM. I haven't had any problems for the rest of the day and I took the tech out after we cleared everything and it was doing good. So we will see.

I have still have the GM Warranty on the car and the STGII kit so I will just keep an eye out for it and start the long drawn out process they are going to make of it to replace the modules in the car and get them to flash them to STGII there at Saturn (which will be the long drawn out part). I'm glad it still running good though.

I had something like that happen to me after i installed my intake, turns out that there is a ground wire that bolts to the chasis and i forgot to tighten it down all the way, check and see if its loose.

Ignition switches are big problems, maybe a power loss from the switch played a game with you.

Yeah this reminded me, I was also thinking a ground wire too.

Thanks I looked it up too I will check it but everything is running fine right now. I really think it was the module, so I will start on that long drawn process of having them replace it.
