Header gasket issue

I work at a Saturn Servce Dept and a friend of mine has his Redline Ion in for an issue with his Intense Racing Header leaking pretty badly from the head to exhaust manifold gasket area. After getting the header off it appears they tried to use the OEM exhaust manifold gasket, but it doesn't come close to matching up to the header....pretty rediculous if you ask me. We are trying to figure out if there is an aftermarket gasket that would fit a header out there or should we try some of that hi-temp copper sealant to make our own gasket with? Any help here would be much appreciated!

I know the vibrant header uses the oem gasket. I'm sure if the intense design is that different they would've included an updated gasket with the header (okay...maybe not). There is a "spacer" that was made for the SMS (I believe?) that was made and always leaked from the head gasket.

I have an aftermarked header gasket, I don't remeber where exactly it came from, but its brand new. I could sell you mine, or search around, any Ecotec exhaust gasket should work. Call Intense and see what they say.

What about the design is causing a leak?

SCE makes a dead soft copper gasket that seals most minor gaps and Remflex makes a 1/8" thick graphite gasket that will seal every gap.
Both the head to header gasket and header to exhaust gasket are available from Remflex. They are based on the SCdyne header flange - however the exhaust port and stud positions are OEM locations.
